Protect your beverage pumps and valves from damaging particulates with the Stainless Steel Suction-Line Strainer. This compact strainer features 1/4″ FPT (Female Pipe Thread) connections and a built-in 30-mesh stainless steel screen. It is designed to be installed on the suction (inlet) side of the pump to filter out seeds, pulp, or grain particles before they can score the pump’s internal vanes or clog solenoid valves. Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials for long-term reliability.
Technician’s Note: A clogged suction strainer is the #1 cause of pump cavitation and “stuttering.” Periodically unscrew the housing to inspect and clean the mesh screen. Ensure you use PTFE tape on the 1/4″ FPT threads for a vacuum-tight seal, as any air leak on the suction side will prevent the pump from priming correctly.
