The 8″ x 12″ Single-Circuit Cold Plate is the core cooling component for portable draught systems and jockey boxes. Constructed from high-conductivity cast aluminum with an internal stainless steel beverage line, it uses ice to rapidly drop the temperature of beer or soda as it flows to the tap. This single-circuit model is designed to chill one beverage line effectively, providing a consistent, ice-cold pour even if the keg is at room temperature. Perfect for events, tailgating, and mobile bars.
Technician’s Setup Note: For maximum cooling, the cold plate must be in constant contact with ice-water. As the ice melts, do not drain all the water; a slurry provides better thermal contact than air gaps between ice cubes. Use 1/4″ or 3/8″ flare fittings with nylon washers to ensure a leak-proof connection to your beverage lines.
