The Flojet CO2 Quick Disconnect Inlet is a high-performance gas management component for Bag-In-Box (BIB) syrup pumps. Constructed from heavy-duty solid brass, this fitting features an integrated manual shut-off valve, allowing you to isolate individual pumps for maintenance without shutting down the entire gas manifold. The quick-disconnect design allows for rapid, tool-free connection of the CO2 supply line to the pump’s air motor, ensuring a pressure-tight seal and reliable operation in high-volume beverage rooms.
Technician’s Note: Always ensures the shut-off is in the “off” position before disconnecting the gas line to prevents high-pressure CO2 release. The integrated check valve prevents any beverage syrup from backing up into the gas line if a pump diaphragm fails. Use high-quality PTFE tape on the MPT side of the fitting to ensures a gas-tight seal to your manifold.
