This Adjustment Knob is used to secure the rollers in the set position. Your old knobs were black plastic and broke very easily. Not no more! These new adjustment knobs are now metal! No more unscrewing the knob and hoping to locka it in a good position. The new one has a push button feature that only requires one hand.
