The Multiplex Backflow Preventer Assembly is a critical safety component for commercial beverage racks. Featuring a 3/8″ Male Flare (MFL) inlet and a 3/8″ NPT Male outlet, this valve is designed to prevent the reverse flow of liquids, protecting your primary water supply and equipment from cross-contamination. Constructed from high-durability stainless steel, it is significantly more resistant to the acidic nature of syrups and carbonated water than standard brass models. Technician’s Note: Install this assembly inline between the water source and the carbonator or syrup pump. Use high-quality PTFE tape on the 3/8″ NPT side for a leak-proof seal. The MFL side requires a standard swivel nut and flare washer for a gas-tight connection. Test the valve annually for proper shut-off to ensures system safety and compliance with local plumbing codes.
