Description
The Core FOB Vent Assembly is a critical replacement part for Micro Matic and other standard Foam-On-Beer (FOB) detectors. This assembly manages the venting of gas from the FOB chamber, allowing the float to reset after a keg change. A failing vent can cause gas to enter the beer line or prevent the FOB from correctly detecting a full line, leading to significant product waste and foaming issues.
Technician’s Note: If your FOB is “bleeding” beer through the vent, the internal seal in this assembly has likely failed due to protein buildup or age. When installing the new assembly, ensure the O-ring is properly seated and lubricated with food-grade grease to ensure a gas-tight seal and smooth operation.
