Technician’s Note: Leveling is the most overlooked step in ice machine installation. If a bin is not level, the ice will stack unevenly, causing the bin sensor to shut the machine off prematurely. When installing the K00138, use a spirit level on the top of the bin. Adjust the threaded stainless steel stems to compensate for floor slope before locking the casters. For safety, always ensure the two locking casters are installed on the front of the bin for easy access. These casters are specifically rated for the weight of a full bin of ice; do not substitute with standard hardware store casters.
