The John Guest 3/8″ Shut-Off Valve is a professional-grade component for precision liquid management. It features a 3/8″ Tube OD push-fit connection and a 3/8″ Male NPTF thread. Utilizing John Guest’s world-famous push-to-connect technology, it provides a 100% tool-free, gas-tight seal on the tubing side. Constructed from white polypropylene with EPDM O-rings, it offers superior chemical resistance and is NSF-certified for potable water and beverage applications. Ideal for water filtration systems and RO line isolation.
Installation Pro-Tip: Use high-quality PTFE (Teflon) tape on the 3/8″ NPT threads for a leak-proof seal to your equipment. For the push-fit side, ensure your 3/8″ OD tubing is cut perfectly square using a dedicated tube cutter. Push the tube into the valve until it “bottoms out” (you will feel two clicks). The 1/4-turn handle provides a positive shut-off that is easy to operate in tight spaces.
