The Crown DC-12 direct steam counter tilting kettle features a double wall interior kettle. It forms a steam jacket around the lower two thirds of the kettle for even cooking. The bottom of the kettle boasts a hemispheric design for superior heat transfer. Worries are eliminated by cooking with a tilting steam kettle, as the heat is evenly distributed. The risk of scorching a soup, sauce, or stew with this Crown DC-12 is almost non-existent! The tilt feature is also handy for easy pouring and distrubution for serving.
