While it has high alpha acids for bittering, Citra is best utilized as a late-boil addition, whirlpool addition, or dry hop to maximize its signature punchy aroma in IPAs, Pale Ales, and Sours.
Hop Master Tip: Citra oils are very volatile. For the “juiciest” aroma, dry hop during the last 3-4 days of fermentation. To prevent oxidation, minimize oxygen exposure when adding hops. These 8 oz packs are nitrogen-flushed to ensure the freshest possible oils reach your brew.
